Cornerstone Behavioral Services, Long Island, New York

Cornerstone Behavioral Services is dedicated to providing all children with disabilities the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop their skills in a collaborative environment. Our social skills program utilizes coaching, modeling, role-play, video modeling, behavioral rehearsal-practice, feedback, social problem solving, and generalization. Children will have the opportunity to engage with their peers, develop, and fine tune their skills.

Groups will be run by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and/or Special Education Teacher. Students will be provided with a 1:1 or 2:1 staff ratio depending on their needs. Our program is data driven and utilizes materials from the Social Skills Improvement System (SSIS) and Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS).

At Cornerstone Behavioral Services we have a dynamic team of professionals working collaboratively to ensure the delivery of effective programs. Our programs are data driven and evidence based. Our team utilizes Verbal Behavior, Errorless Learning, Discrete Trial Training, Natural Environment Teaching and much more. Our programs address a wide array of behaviors including aggression, self-injury, tantrums, transition difficulties, accepting no/wait and food selectivity.
